Starting School:

Enrolment at Moor Green Primary Academy begins in September for children turning 5 in the academic year. Our admission process includes three priority levels:

  • Looked after or previously looked after children.
  • Children with a sibling at the school.
  • Children of school staff in a skills shortage role.

The final priority is given to children living nearest to the school, determined by a straight-line measurement from home to school within each category.

Additionally, if Moor Green is named in a child’s Special Educational Needs/Education Health and Care Plan, the child is granted overall priority for admission, irrespective of oversubscription.

We're eager to welcome your family to Moor Green! To secure a Reception place for September 2024, kindly apply through Birmingham City Council.
